MATU /MArzena TUrek-Gaś/ is an international artist. She has exhibited around the world, including: United Kingdom - London (Mall Gallery 2000), Stockholm (World Trade Center 2000), New York (United Nations 2000). Her posters were shown in: Moravian Gallery in Brno (2002), Pécsi Gallery in Hungary (2000, 2008, 2009, 2010); The Central House of Artist in Moscow (2006), Hatton and Curfman Galleries in Colorado, USA (2001, 2003) Ogaki Poster Museum in Japan (2000/2001); other, important works were shown in Seoul, Korea (2006); Horst-Jansen Museum, Oldenburg (2010); Tokyo (2015) and Art Fair Asia Fukuoka in Japan (2015). In 2006 received a scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. She is a precursor of a new technique. MATU / MARZENA TUREK GAŚ is the first artist worldwide who creates unique, large-format paintings using a roller-skates rather than painting brush. This sort of painting is very demanding ... it requires practice and being in good shape. Her entire body is involve while creating the large-scale canvases. It is similar to an athlete’s effort!
